Accelerated Path to Power
Solar installation and energization typically takes 24 to 30 months or more from project commencement — and may be longer in some states. Accelerated timelines may be achievable on sites that are already entitled for solar and otherwise development-ready, subject to utility coordination, permitting, equipment availability, financing, and partner alignment.
Rapid Mobilization
Construction readiness requires having solar entitlement confirmed, permits in hand, utility coordination complete, engineering finalized, and equipment procurement advanced. Even on qualified sites, the pre-construction sequence requires significant coordinated lead time before mobilization can begin. Sites that are entitled, permitted, or shovel-ready are positioned to move through this sequence more efficiently.
Hybrid Architecture
Generation systems are designed around load certainty — combining solar as the primary energy asset with firm and dispatchable resources as conditions require.
Site Readiness Dependency
Accelerated timelines are not guaranteed. They depend on the readiness of the site — including entitlements, permits, infrastructure access, and development conditions. We work with partners to assess and optimize these factors.
Prerequisites to Energization
Accelerated power delivery depends on what has already been resolved at the site level. The faster a project clears these prerequisites, the shorter the path from agreement to energization.
Land Control
Clear and stable site control — through ownership, ground lease, or a structured long-term agreement — is required before development investment can be committed.
Entitlement Status
Entitled, permitted, or shovel-ready sites enable the fastest timeline. Sites without resolved entitlements require upstream work before the 18–24 month delivery clock can start.
Utility & Infrastructure Access
Grid interconnection points, substation proximity, natural gas supply, fiber and telecom access, and road infrastructure must be assessed and aligned before construction begins.
Development Sequencing
Site feasibility, infrastructure timing, and contractor mobilization must be sequenced correctly. CSA — supported by development capabilities with decades of infrastructure and real-estate experience — coordinates this discipline from the outset.
